Kim Kardashian is catching some heat for her awkward snub of veteran reporter Martin Brundle at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Kim Kardashian’s appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix turned messy fast and not because of anything on the track. Just minutes before the race kicked off, Kim standing out on the starting grid to support her boyfriend, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton brushed off seasoned Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle during his live pre-race walk. The snub, icy and unmistakable, went viral almost instantly, with fans calling Kim “classless” and slamming her for what they saw as pure arrogance. Martin Brundle’s grid walks are a staple for F1 fans. He weaves through celebrities and drivers, squeezing in quick chats before the engines roar. This time, he spotted Kim alongside her sister Khloe and their friend Simon Huck. He approached, mic in hand, did his usual friendly intro “Kim, Martin Brundle from Sky F1, how are you today?” and asked if she was enjoying the event. Instead of responding, Kim shot a short smile, gave a fleeting glance, and then just turned away. Silence. She leaned in to her securi...

Maverick' actor James Handy has been fatally stabbed, and the suspect has confessed to the crime during a chilling 911 call.

The quiet streets of Tarzana, California, saw a devastating shock this week. James Handy, a veteran Hollywood actor best known for his role in Top Gun: Maverick, was stabbed to death outside his own home. At 81, Handy still had a steady presence on and off screen, and his sudden death left the entertainment world stunned and mourning. The Los Angeles Police raced to his residence on June 3, 2026, after a 911 call that was chilling enough to set everything in motion.

The Suspect’s Confession

The story took a turn pretty quickly. Around 9:30 a.m., a man called emergency services with a bizarre, almost surreal confession. Investigators later played the audio, he spoke clearly, but his words were unsettling. He claimed he was “the son of man” and said he’d taken the life of “the man of sin.” That strange statement was enough to send multiple police units racing toward Handy’s home in the San Fernando Valley.

First responders found Handy unresponsive on the grass, bleeding badly from a chest wound. Paramedics scrambled to give him care and rushed him to a nearby hospital. Even with their best efforts, it was too late. Doctors pronounced him dead shortly after he arrived.

A Family Member Arrested

Police secured the scene and didn’t have to hunt for the suspect, he waited near the house, flagged down officers, and admitted to the crime. That man was 44-year-old Michael Gledhill, who lived there with his mother, the actor’s longtime partner. So what looked like a random violent act quickly revealed itself as a personal tragedy within the family, leaving neighbors and coworkers trying to make sense of it.

Gledhill surrendered peacefully. After a search and handcuffing, officers took him to Valley Jail in Van Nuys. Charged with murder, he faces a $2 million bail. There’s not much information yet about his lawyer, and early checks turned up nobody attached to his case. His arraignment is expected soon, where he’ll make his plea and the court will decide if that steep bail sticks.

James Handy’s Hollywood Legacy

Handy’s death is grim, but his legacy in film and TV is impressive. Born in New York City in 1945, he racked up nearly 150 screen credits. He often played cops, authority figures, or the shady type you couldn’t quite trust a casting director’s secret weapon when a scene needed depth.

Most people have seen him in something without even realizing it. He shared the screen with Robin Williams in Jumanji, playing a quirky pest control guy caught up in the movie’s magic chaos. He also turned up in Arachnophobia, Unbreakable, Logan, and plenty more.

On TV, Handy left an equal mark. He portrayed Captain Jim Haverill on NYPD Blue, Arthur Devlin in Alias, and made guest appearances in hits like Criminal Minds, The West Wing, Castle, NCIS: Los Angeles, and 9-1-1. He always managed to add real weight to the ensemble.

His Final Role: Top Gun Maverick

Handy’s last big gig was in Top Gun: Maverick, released in summer 2022. He played Jimmy, an old-school bartender where pilots hung out between missions. That role let him share scenes with new stars and Hollywood royalty like Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Glen Powell, and Monica Barbaro.

Maverick smashed box office records over $1.4 billion and brought moviegoers back after the pandemic lull. Handy’s brief appearance was a perfect example of what he always brought: a grounded, authentic vibe amid blockbuster chaos.

Tributes and Community Reaction

Word of Handy’s tragic death spread fast through the entertainment community. Friends, agents, and former colleagues all stepped forward to share grief and memories. Pam Ellis-Evenas, his agent at Ellis Talent Group, called him not just exceptionally talented but also humble and gracious, a far cry from the tough guys he played on TV.

Neighbors in Tarzana were stunned, too. Violence was unheard of in their quiet community, and police have tried to reassure everyone this was a domestic tragedy, not some wider threat. Detectives from LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division are handling the case, and authorities urge anyone with more information about what happened in the household to reach out.

James Handy’s career touched countless fans and brought a genuine human quality to every role. His loss leaves a hole, both in Hollywood and at home.
